Formed in 1984 by Gerald Brooks and Jeremy Martin, Martin-Brooks started life with just six employees and now has more than 60. Both partners had been working in the traditional slating industry for 20 years before branching out on their own and wanted to provide a high quality service in this field.
They were joined in 1989 by John Elmore, who brought a wealth of experience and contracting knowledge to the growing firm. Today, we enjoy a reputation across Yorkshire and beyond for our commitment to craftsmanship and a new generation of Brooks, Martin and Elmore are actively involved in day-to-day operations, driving the business forward, whilst retaining its core values.
The domestic division is still at the heart of what we do and carries out work across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. We are happy to undertake projects of any size, from a single repair to complete reroofs. It is a pleasure to say 75% of our domestic business comes from repeat custom and recommendations, thanks to the care and attention to detail we offer every client.
