Services
Rug Cleaning
Our professional rug cleaning service preserves the appearance and durability of your rugs through specialized techniques. We employ traditional hand wash methods for Oriental rugs, using gentle solutions that protect natural dyes and fibres. The process includes dust removal, colour fastness testing, hand scrubbing, thorough rinsing, and careful drying to maintain the rug's integrity. Our experts handle delicate hand-knotted pieces with particular attention to preserving their craftsmanship, ensuring each rug retains its original beauty while receiving thorough cleaning that extends its lifespan.
Rug Repair
We offer expert rug repair services to restore damaged rugs to their original condition using traditional techniques. Our specialists handle fringe repair and replacement, edge binding, reweaving of worn areas, and colour restoration. For delaminated tufted rugs, we apply specialist techniques to reattach separated layers. Each repair is matched precisely to the original rug's materials and patterns, maintaining the piece's authenticity. Our craftsmen combine modern expertise with time-honoured methods to ensure seamless restoration that preserves the rug's value and appearance.
Home Rug Service
Our home trial service allows customers to test rugs in their actual living environment before purchasing. We deliver up to five selected rugs to customers within a 50-mile radius, enabling them to assess how the pieces complement their space under natural lighting conditions. The service includes expert guidance on rug placement and size selection. A 69.99 fee is credited toward purchases over 1,000, making this service both convenient and cost-effective for customers seeking the perfect rug fit for their home.
Rug Anti-Slip Underlay
We provide premium anti-slip underlay solutions to ensure rugs remain securely in place on various floor surfaces. Our range includes high-performance underlays for hard floors and carpet grippers that prevent movement without damaging flooring. The products feature non-toxic, solvent-free materials that are safe for families and pets. These solutions maintain rug stability while preserving their appearance and texture, offering long-lasting protection against slippage without altering the rug's visual or tactile qualities.
Bespoke Rug Services
Our bespoke rug service connects customers with rural Indian artisans who create unique, handcrafted pieces. We offer made-to-order rugs in specific sizes, colours, and patterns to match individual interior designs. The service includes expert consultation on material selection, pile density, and design elements. Customers benefit from direct access to traditional craftsmanship, with quality assurance throughout the creation process. We went into Rugmart having seen hundreds of rugs online and couldn't find one anywhere. Then we searched for a rug shop in Guildford, where we live, and to our surprise, discovered Rugmart! If only we'd found them earlier. We left after 20 minutes with a rug! Romin was brilliant! Our words as we left were: 'All that time spent searching online!'

We arrived not much longer than half hour before closing time and were provided with great service and advice. We didn't feel rushed and our children were very well accommodated. We came away with a hand made large rug which is now looking good in our front room.

Romin was very knowledgeable and very easy to deal with. He took time to ensure that the right kind of rug was suitable for our lounge and delivered it personally. What proved the most useful was providing photos of the lounge so that he could advise as to the size and colours to match existing furniture. Overall we had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Rugmart.

I couldn't believe that they had over 10,000 rugs in stock, but after visiting I would say that was a low estimate! The place has 3 floors, filled with rolls and piles of rugs everywhere you look. It's absolutely full but very well organised. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for, just describe it and they will take you round showing you everything similar. They knew all the sizes they came in, and whether they had anything out back if it wasn't on display. Highly recommended if you are looking for a rug!

Wanted to buy a new handmade runner for our hallway. Gentleman who served us was extremely helpful, they had an amazing range of rugs and runners and we found a lovely one at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this business.

Make this your 1st point of call when you are looking for a rug. So many to choose from and yes you will find more than one you will like. We were after a very modern rug and we did find more than one. The staff keep their distance but are there as soon as you need any help or advise. I will return to Rugmart as soon as the wood floor has been fitted. Its good to go to the Shop so you can feel the quality and see it laid out but it is just as easy to order online.
Dont forget the anti slip underlay it seems a bit expensive but you wont be disappointed, it works.
