Whether restoring an existing sash window or making a new sash window from scratch, Mighton Sash Balances allow you to create a sash window that will open with ease and can be held in any position. A sash balance (spring balance) is a spring loaded device used to counter-balance a sash in a box sash window.

Our lead & steel sash window weights can be delivered or collected from our Letchworth Depot. A sash window weight is used to counter-balance the weight of a sliding sash in a sash window and thus hold it in position at any height. Steel sash weights were designed by Mighton in 1985.
