In spring and summer, we have a small range of marginal and deep water plants including water lilies and more native species. Some are striking and architectural such as the Japanese horsetail and Arum lily, others are bright and colourful such as Kingcups and Marsh marigolds. A large variety of locally grown bedding is available from spring to early summer, along with planted hanging baskets and tubs.

I have been designing gardens in this area for several years and strongly believe that success as a garden designer is based on listening closely to the wishes of my clients and then interpreting those wishes into the garden of their dreams. All styles of gardens and budget are catered for and many clients are happy to offer a recommendation.

Very different to the last time I went. Last time I went the staff were unhelpful. But this time there seemed to be a different atmosphere. Helpful staff happy staff. And what I noticed was the friendly and happy staff. This is the first time in 2years that I have been here. I will go back again. Hope they keep up the hood work.

I've reached that age where the occasional trip to the garden centre is one of those things that has to be done. This is probably one of the better ones. There's some nice flowers and all that stuff and I didn't feel like 'all' the stuff was a rip off. I can't say I'll be hurrying back as it's not my favourite way to spend a Saturday afternoon but when I do need to visit a garden centre, I'll probably return here.

Amazingly helpful staff.
I bought a water sprayer and asked if they could fill it for me.
This meant the man who served me would have to put it together, which he did cheerfully. He then tested it for me. He even fitted the carrying strap.
Wow. I would recommend this modestly sized yet good garden centre to everyone.

First and last visit to this garden centre.
We had a coffee in the cafe and had a muffin which was extremely dry and tasteless. In hindsight it was very expensive for what it was. Over £3 for something of that quality is not worth it.
The most shocking thing about the cafe is the house plants. Every single one was either dead, dying and in the wrong location.
Really not good enough for a garden centre. The cafe really should be a showroom for what house plants can look like if cared for!
When looking around the place it's evident that there is no passion or care. Everything is either dying
