Mr Shifter

Mr Shifter has been providing professional removals services to the local community for over 47 years. As a family-run business established in 1982, we combine the scale to handle any removal need with the personal touch that prioritises individual customer requirements. Our staff are permanently employed, professionally trained to British Association of Removers (BAR) standards, and have extensive experience in handling domestic and commercial moves. With a fleet of purpose-built vehicles equipped with protective features like furniture webbing and bubble wrap, we ensure the safe transportation of belongings. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our 95% customer recommendation rate and our membership of the Road Haulage Association.

We offer fixed-price quotes, free no-obligation surveys, and comprehensive services including packing, storage, and house clearances. Our state-of-the-art warehouse provides secure containerised storage for household and commercial goods, with flexible short- and long-term options. As Middlesbrough's No.1 removals company, we serve local, national, and international destinations, including Europe, Australia, and the USA. Our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction has been built through decades of consistent service excellence and a focus on transparency, with no hidden fees and clear communication throughout the moving process.
