Montgomery Nurseries & Blooming Tea

Established in 1995 by William Montgomery, our garden centre has grown from a local horticultural supplier to a diversified destination serving Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and beyond. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has driven our expansion into floristry, farm shop provisions, and floral sundries, ensuring year-round relevance and service. Our team combines decades of horticultural expertise with formal training, including our florists qualifications from Greenmount College, to deliver tailored solutions for gardens, events, and homes. We prioritise sustainable practices, sourcing locally where possible and offering container re-filling services to reduce waste. With a purpose-built cold room for fresh flowers, extensive plant stock, and partnerships with regional producers, we blend tradition with innovation.

Our pet corner caters to aquatics enthusiasts, while our floral sundries department supplies trade clients across the UK and Ireland. We maintain rigorous standards through partnerships with trusted suppliers like Smithers Oasis and Chrysal UK, ensuring product reliability. Our physical location in Maghera, Northern Ireland, offers a spacious retail experience complemented by online ordering and delivery services. We actively engage with the local community, supporting nearby attractions like The Flax Museum and Ardtara House. This enduring dedication to quality, education, and customer-centric service has solidified our reputation as a trusted horticultural authority.
