The garden centre was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and as always we enjoyed wandering round; we love coming here.
However when we went for coffee and cake we found that the crockery in the cafe hadn't been cleaned very thoroughly. We went on Saturday 4 Dec and also the following day but on both days it was clear the crockery hadn't been properly washed/rinsed. We raised this with a member of staff but all he did was wipe it with a (not very clean) cloth, so in the end we took the cup to the washroom and rinsed it in the sink. So I've only given them 3 stars.

This place has changed a lot over the 5 years I've been going. Each year it gets bigger... Possibly loosing some character along the way. However the new play barn really adds to the attraction for families and there is something for everyone. It is now expensive and perhaps too popular as more people are attracted to it. I do like it, but to be honest starting to look elsewhere for my lunch, tea and cake.
