Stenhouse Flooring

Stenhouse Flooring was established in 1981 by Ron Stenhouse, continuing a family tradition of skilled floorlaying that began with his father's work on iconic projects like the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool. Our company spans three generations of craftsmen, each with a minimum of 20 years' hands-on experience, enabling us to handle projects of all scalesfrom intricate restoration work to large commercial installations. As specialists in hardwood flooring, we collaborate with leading brands to deliver bespoke solutions tailored to clients' needs. Our team of highly trained professionals has worked together for over two decades, ensuring consistent quality in floor laying, sanding, restoration, staining, sealing, polishing, and repairs. Based in Cramlington, Northumberland, we serve the entire UK and Scotland, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to achieve exceptional results.

Our showroom operates by appointment, offering expert guidance on selecting the perfect flooring solutions. We pride ourselves on meticulous subfloor preparation, including damp-proofing, levelling, and plywood installation, to ensure lasting installations. Our expertise extends to creating bespoke designs, from traditional herringbone patterns to modern prefinished layouts, all executed to the highest standards. We utilise premium products like Bona finishes to achieve durable, aesthetically pleasing results, whether restoring existing floors or installing new ones. Our long-standing partnerships with suppliers such as Junckers, Boen, and Havwoods allow us to provide tailored flooring solutions for commercial spaces, including offices, restaurants, and sports facilities.
