Roger Eavis, a plant physiologist with a PhD from Wye College, has owned Greenshutters since 1998. He brings decades of academic and practical experience, having worked in agricultural research and lecturing before expanding the nursery and garden centre.

Driven and cycled past this place dozens
Of times ,decided to pop in and have a look while traveling past ,What a lovely garden centre,
Fantastic selection of really healthy plants , shrubs ,trees ,and anything else you would need and its just like walking around a very beautiful garden.

Great discovery on the way to somewhere else. Healthy plants, very wide choice and well laid out, its also a living fence supplier with a huge range and selection of conifers, bushes etc. for hedges. We were not planning to buy anything and still spent 80 looking good in the garden.

This is a nice, if a bit small, garden centre. I have bought hedging and plants from here on more than one occasion and can honestly say that it's a pleasure to visit. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful.
