Services
Carpet Cleaning
Our hot water extraction system removes deep-seated dirt and stains from carpets using eco-friendly chemicals. The process involves pre-treatment, high-pressure cleaning, and rapid extraction to ensure carpets dry within an hour. Ideal for households and rental properties requiring thorough, efficient cleaning with minimal disruption.
Upholstery Cleaning
Specialist cleaning for sofas, chairs, and mattresses using reduced water flow and handheld tools. Targets stains and odours while preserving fabric integrity. Recommended for maintaining hygiene in high-use areas without damaging delicate upholstery materials.
Rug Cleaning
Workshop-based rug cleaning includes stain removal, odour treatment, and sanitisation. Clients drop off rugs for next-day return. Suitable for all rug types, including wool and synthetic materials, with pricing based on size and complexity.
Letting Cleans
Affordable carpet cleaning for tenants and landlords, starting at 3 per carpet. Includes receipt provision and free pet treatment. Designed to meet letting agent requirements while avoiding inflated prices from third-party contractors.
Pet Stain Treatment
Free biological enzyme treatment breaks down pet urine proteins to eliminate odours and stains. Most effective when applied promptly, though limitations exist for older stains on wool carpets. Part of all domestic cleaning services at no extra cost.
Questions
What causes carpet browning after cleaning?
Browning occurs when water seeps into hessian backing, releasing dye that rises into carpet fibres. Wool carpets resist this due to better moisture retention.
Can tea and coffee stains be removed?
Fresh stains usually respond well to professional treatment. Older stains may cause permanent colour changes due to chemical reactions with carpet fibres.
How are rugs cleaned?
Small rugs are cleaned in our workshop with next-day collection. Larger rugs receive on-site treatment using portable equipment and specialist chemicals.
Do you clean upholstery?
Yes, we use handheld tools and reduced water flow to clean sofas, chairs, and mattresses, ensuring fabric integrity while removing stains and odours.
What cleaning method do you use?
We use hot water extraction (steam cleaning) with adjustable pressure settings, combining eco-friendly chemicals and powerful extraction for optimal results.
Are prices fixed?
Prices vary based on property size, access, and cleaning requirements. Quoted prices are minimums subject to pre-service assessment of specific conditions.

Great prices, well laid out website with all the information you would need. I sent them an email about an enquiry about a carpet stain and they were very honest with me and gave me prices and advice for my situation.

Fantastic and quick service at a very reasonable cost. At short notice came and completely rejuvenated some badly stained and smelly carpets. Now all fresh and clean and a very happy customer. Wouldn't use anyone else now!

Not even worth 1 star.
Cancelled first time around with an excuse that turned out to be a lie. Terrible customer service - Rude & harassing text messages to both myself & partner late at night. Constantly changing pricing & doing job without confirming new price. Threatening law action when additional money wasn't paid (20) even though they had not confirmed new price with us before undertaking clean.
When ground was stood with regards to this I was told I was being rude & had an attitude problem etc!!! After a tirade of rude & abusive texts from Mike, I called him to have a grown up, constructive

After doing extensive online research because I am very picky, I have now used Swindon Carpet Cleaners (Mike & Angie) 3 times in the last year for my own home, and also the property I rent out, and I can highly recommend them. They turn up promptly on time, do a fabulous job, and are friendly and polite. The service they provide is excellent value for money and I will be having them back next month to do my sofas. Highly recommended by me.

Phoned this company, very helpful and polite. No job too much and my carpets came up a treat! I must admit we have children so some of the stains were tough but they got them out! I would definitely recommend and use them again. Thank you Swindon Carpet Cleaners.
