I had 5 quotes from 5 different contractors but YHR stood out as the choice for me from the start. Ians assessment of my roof was thorough. He went on the roof, took photos, spent over hour with me explaining his opinions. His approach was professional and detailed and I genuinely felt very well informed. I had to wait a few months for him to start the roof repair and porch re roof but he kept me updated.
Ian and his team were clearly diligent in their work. I did not get the impression they were rushing or cutting corners but rather being thorough and giving me daily updates on their progress

Yorkshire Heritage Roofing have just completed a re-roof of my mid Victorian (1850-80) back to back terrace. The roof is constructed with the original Yorkshire stone slates. After getting a few quotes from a few different roofing companies I went with Ian and YHR after being particularly impressed with the attention and level of detail during our initial appointment. Ian must have spent over an hour talking through different options and explaining the whole process to me. The quote that came back was detailed, considered and competitive. I was working abroad while most of the work was done but
