Floor Sanding
Our dustless floor sanding process removes surface imperfections while preserving timber integrity. Using advanced machinery, we prepare floors for varnishing, ensuring a smooth, even finish that extends the lifespan of your wooden floors. This service is ideal for homeowners seeking to restore worn or damaged flooring without replacement. Each project includes thorough preparation and debris removal.
Reclaimed Wood Restoration
We specialise in restoring historical character through reclaimed wood repairs. Sourced from old structures, this durable timber is repurposed to match original flooring, maintaining architectural authenticity. Our craftsmen carefully select and cut reclaimed boards to seamlessly integrate with existing floors, enhancing both aesthetic value and sustainability through eco-conscious practices.
Eco-Friendly Varnishing
Three coats of premium eco-friendly varnish protect floors against daily wear while maintaining low environmental impact. This non-toxic finish creates a durable, scratch-resistant surface suitable for high-traffic areas. The application process ensures even coverage and rapid curing times, allowing homeowners to enjoy renewed floors with minimal disruption to daily life.
Wood Floor Repairs
Targeted repairs address specific damage using matching reclaimed wood. Our team carefully selects materials to blend with existing flooring, employing traditional joinery techniques for lasting results. This service preserves original floor integrity while avoiding full replacement costs, ideal for historic properties requiring authentic restoration solutions.
Reclaimed Wood Supply
We supply machined reclaimed floorboards in various dimensions, including 95mm redwood and 150mm yellow pine options. Each board undergoes rigorous preparation to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality. This service caters to DIY enthusiasts and professionals seeking sustainable materials that add historical character to residential and commercial spaces.

Questions
What types of wooden floor services do you offer?
We specialise in sanding, varnishing, restoration, and repairs using reclaimed wood. Our services cover lounge, hall, and entire home flooring projects across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Why choose reclaimed wood for flooring?
Reclaimed wood offers superior durability and unique character. Its aged density resists warping, while historical textures and grain patterns create one-of-a-kind aesthetics that modern timber cannot replicate.
How does your floor restoration process work?
We assess floors personally, then use dustless sanding followed by three coats of eco-varnish. Repairs incorporate reclaimed timber to match original flooring, completed with minimal disruption to your home.
Do you provide free consultations?
Yes, Vincent offers free, no-obligation consultations to discuss your flooring needs, recommend finishes, and provide aftercare advice tailored to your specific wooden floors.
Are your services eco-friendly?
We prioritise sustainability through reclaimed wood usage and eco-friendly varnishes. This approach reduces deforestation impact while preserving historical materials in our Edinburgh-based projects.

I cant recommend Vinny and his team highly enough. The floors in our tenement flat hadnt been touched for decades and we were concerned they were beyond repair, but the repairs, sanding, and finish look absolutely incredible. I've posted before and after pictures below so you can see the dramatic difference for yourself. On top of the workmanship itself, Vinny was friendly and communicative from the start and the entire process was completely stress-free. I can now see for myself he has so many five-star reviews.

It's hard to come by truly talented and reliable tradesmen these days. Vinny and his team are undoubtedly talented in what they do and were very punctual. They transformed our tired and neglected timber floors and made them look new again. The floors were also squeaking in places, but the majority of those squeaks are gone now. I would highly recommend Vinny in the future!
