Throughout our growth from a sawmill processing felled timber in the aftermath of The Great Storm, to a leading nationwide supplier of oak framed buildings, timber products and garden features, we have maintained a strong commitment to quality products and trusted crafting techniques.Our oak frame workshop employs centuries old methods to handcraft structures designed by an experienced in-house CAD team.
Unlike many on the market, our frames feature fully planed oak, mortice and tenon joints, curved braces and oak pegs. Every one is dry fitted in workshop to ensure ease of assembly on site. Tradition is similarly upheld in our dedicated joinery workshop for the manufacture of quality doors and windows, whist our fully equipped timber mill cuts skirting, architraves and green oak.

Round Wood isn't just a trading name; it's our home. We have operated from this ancient woodland, nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty in East Sussex, for three decades. Over this time, we have sympathetically developed the site to house our oak framed offices, timber mill and joinery worskshop.

Over the last thirty years, we have planned, erected and finished thousands of oak framed buildings. These have ranged from garden gazebos and single bay garages, up to office complexes and full houses. Regardless of size, every oak frame is approached with the same sense of pride and close attention to detail.
1-Bay Garages
Report
1-bay oak framed garages are traditionally combined with a gable roofline, but can be modified to work with alternatives such as a barn-hip. Side aisles and log stores are popular additions to a 1-bay frame. Whilst garages can be built to bespoke requirements, we do offer a series of guide designs to help get you started.
2-Storey & Bespoke

Our oak framed guide designs are there just to get you started! The expertise and experience within our planning, design and installation teams allows us to cater for your precise requirements and achieve any style of oak framed garage. Regular projects include large, often multi-purpose, complexes and two-storey structures with living space above.
