The Garden Centre is part of Dunston Hall Estates with it's centrepiece, Dunston Hall, which dates back to the 16th century. The Hall is open for Weddings, bespoke events and to the public, on certain days of the year for cream teas and walks around the stunning garden.
Dunston Hall Garden Centre is set next to the hall within one of the most beautiful walled gardens in Derbyshire, with stunning views over the Derbyshire hills and to South Yorkshire.It is definitely worth a visit. Dunston Hall Estate is currently undergoing many exciting projects, including the refurbishment of a new bistro and redevelopment of some of our sales areas, to enhance the experience of our customers.
We are developing a large seating area outside, so you can enjoy the stunning views whilst enjoying some of the finest coffee and cakes in the area. Relax, drink, dine whilst your children play in the new adventure playground. After being let down else where we contacted the bistro and was very pleased they could fit us in within a very short time of contacting them. The service and food was very good. Lovely efficient staff,well organised highly recommend this place. Thank you all for a lovely meal with good quick service. Deffo be back.

Booked a table for 4 people at 1pm, seated at ten past after we managed to get the attention of a member of staff. Ordered food, arrived wrong so sent back. Then when the waitress came to clear plates she spilled cream all over my father's trousers to which her response was oops sorry, then ordered deserts which arrived with watercress as dressing. Over all a very disappointing way to spend almost 2 hrs and charged £72 for the privilege!!! Would not recommend

Excellent in-house cooked food. This cafe went through a tricky stage of inadequacy, but it has picked up again. The chairs in the main cafe are desperately in need of replacing/recovering. There is pleasant conservatory seating overlooking the plant area of the garden centre. Value for money with friendly staff.
