Richard did a fantastic job fitting a bespoke lock to our church front door. It was a tricky lock to design and fit to an old door and Richard was highly professional from start to finish. Outstanding service and great job

Fantastic service by Richard. Early call out due to a break in; Richard responded promptly and was available within 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable and keen to give the best service: presenting all options available with no pressure or preference applied at any stage. He clearly wants his customers to be safe, secure and happy with their choice. 100% recommend him!

Would 100% recommend Richard to anyone in need of a lock smith. He was attending another customer over the road from us when we asked him to come and take a look at the lock on our garage door. He was more than happy to come and have a look, he took the lock out and order a replacement. He was back within days with a new lock and was ready to install it. There were complications due to the previous fitters of the door which meant he was not happy with simply replacing the lock as it was not secure, he explained that he had to order some more parts and design a better solution.

He was back as soon as he had the parts, took the time to install and make it a proper job. He was incredibly profession, friendly and took the time to explain the mechanism, what he had to do to resolve the issue and how it all worked. Number saved in phone for future use. Thank you Richard.

Needed Richard to fix the door locking system, he arrived on time, repaired the lock and adjusted the hinges. His charge was very reasonable and he is highly recommended.

Richard came to resolve issue with locks in two museum objects. One was locked with no keys, one was locked and had keys that didn't do anything. He was able to open the locks, service them and create new keys, all with causing no damage at all to the objects. It took several days to open all the locks as they were so seized. They now function beautifully and we have keys for both objects that operate the locks. I can't recommend Richard highly enough. It was a delight to work with him from my initial call to receiving the keys.

I bought a very old wooden cased lock on eBay and sent it to Richard to be refurbished. I'd not used him before but I very highly recommend him. The lock is now superb with a smooth, clean action and very easy to use. He made us three new keys which are big iron affairs in keeping with the age of the lock. The refurb was pretty involved and after a year of use shows no signs of wear. Really appreciate the quality of the workmanship. The price was very reasonable too. Great service, excellent skills, and a smile each time I unlock the door.
