We can provide free advice on caring for your plants after purchase. We also offer an additional planting service for the complete novice after a site survey which is highly recommended. As a general guide, bulbs should be planted 2-3 times the depth of the bulb (unless otherwise specified on the pack).
Make sure they are planted the correct way up. Quite often the top of the bulb is pointed, or you can see old roots or a basal plate visible at the base of the bulb to indicate the bottom. Bulbs come in all shapes and sizes and it is not always possible to tell which is top and bottom. We are a small, local run plant nursery based in the village of Histon, 3 miles north of Cambridge. We are open all year round, 7 days a week, 9am - dusk. Our plant selection changes throughout the year to match the seasons. In winter/spring we have potted bulbs, winter/spring flowering annuals and perennials for sale.

Once you have bought your plants from us, you may be unsure of the correct site, situation, or aftercare for your new plants. Therefore, we are happy to offer advice on what to do with your plants and advise you on the correct aftercare. You can either speak to someone at the nursery when purchasing your plants, or contact us after your purchase using the 'contact' page and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
