Our principal surveyors are trained to TWI 3.0 Level 1 in Visual Weld Inspection and hold Level 2 qualifications in ultrasound and visual weld inspection. We have completed over 500 metres of new build projects within the last five years alone. Our expertise extends to non-destructive testing for composite and FRP new builds to confirm quality standards. We provide NDT and traditional inspections for underwriters and insurers to confirm the extent of damage on composite vessels. We are nominated on behalf of the MCA to undertake commercial code of practice surveys for vessels with a load line under 24 metres. Our founder Duncan Saunders is a Fellow of the Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association and holds a Ship Science degree from the University of Southampton. Hugo Morgan-Harris completed a five-year apprenticeship at a historic boatyard before gaining further qualifications from Southampton Institute. MCA Charter Surveys
We are nominated on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to undertake commercial code of practice surveys for vessels with a load line under 24 metres. Our combined client base for this regulatory service currently stands at over 300 vessels. This authorisation allows us to ensure that commercial craft meet the required safety and operational standards.
Purchase Surveys
